character profiles

SEAN-
Sean is in our film as a teenager. We felt it was important to include teenagers in our film as our target audience is teenagers and therefore they shall be able to connect with the characters better and will make them want to watch the actual film more.  Sean is the character along with Shannon (mentioned below)  who comes in counter with the clown. Sean did drama for GCSE so he has experience in adapting a role well and has seen others do performances which will help because he can then see the good and bad in our performances.

SHANNON-
Shannon is the other teenager in the film who is the sister of Sean. As mentioned above she comes in counter with the clown too. Shannon will be a victim as once she see's the clown her life spirals out of control. Shannon's character is shy and immature which suits the role of a protagonists because we will then feel her fear and can connect with the character more.

BAILY-
Baily is the clown in our film but also the news reporter. We felt he would be good as the clown because he is a lot taller than Shannon and Sean which makes the character seem more intimidating and this shall be effect as it will create tension and enable us to connect with the characters, Shannon and Sean. The clown has a bad background due to the fact he has been in a psychiatric hospital, which we shall touch on throughout the trailer. He escapes the hospital and that is when he shall become encountered with the other two characters. He dresses as a clown to seem intimidating and to express his anger for being stuck in the hospital for years.
