Green screen images

In our film we used a green screen, it was used to produce our news report scenes. We had to put one image underneath the footage, one above and then Baily in between so it made it look like he was sitting at the news reporting desk. We are then going to have me at the air raid shelter in the next part to show where the clown has been seen. We felt it was effective because it then helps to set the story line better. It took a while to learn how to put them together to make it look like he is actually sitting down instead of floating but once we had mastered it, it looked really good and will look great when the whole footage is done.

Since starting this we have altered it, we finished it with having the news report but then the part of myself at the air raid shelter that we were going to do on a green screen looked better filmed at the air raid shelter instead of on a green screen so we did this bit straight from the place instead.

our film production titles

We wanted to keep them simple but well presented because it looks more effective than having too much detail as then it takes away the wow factor of the trailer. We felt black and white was effective because it stands out but also looks for more of a mature audience which is good as our film is based at a 15.

Final look of the clown

We originally had decided to use make up on the clown as we felt it would make the clown look more humanised. Other posts show the ideas we had for the look. However after trying again before filming we decided we couldn't get the look of the clown good enough and therefore as a group we decided we no longer wanted to use make up and would use a mask. Although the mask makes it less humanised we also agreed that because we want it to look like a man is dressing up a mask would be more effective because he looks scruffy and more like a clown.

Behind the scenes of filming

This was from behind the scenes of filming when we were in Ashtead common. We wanted to make sure we took shots of the places whilst in action because it is effective and enables us to show what we did. Baily had to get into the water for one of our shots to get up close to a tunnel.

The actual scene that shall be in the film is effective because its creepy and different which is a great introduction for a trailer.

Location 4 - Air raid shelter location

We visited an air raid shelter to get more footage done. This was a great place to film the clown as it was creepy, abandoned and because it has been vandalised it gives the feeling of you're not alone.  We feel these shots are effective because it shows what it is like inside and the potential it has for filming.

GO BACK
SHES WATCHING
DONT GO FURTHER  - these are effective because when in our filming it will look like we had done it for the filming.

The old toilet and the broken chair give the feeling of what it could have been originally and you do not know when it was last in use or who is down there.

The old broken door shows the audience that someone or something has gotten in there which gives a creepy feel and the audience want to know more about the building and who could potentially be in there.
